Starring Mj Rodriguez

2023 Golden Globe Awards

Hi, Michaela Jaé fans! I apologize for the lack of updates. The gallery has been updated with photos from the 2023 Golden Globe Awards (January 10). Mj received a standing ovation for her untelevised 2022 win during Ryan Murphy’s speech. Check out the photos and clips below!

“A year ago, the Golden Globes weren’t televised, but the show did go on. And I was so thrilled when it was announced that Mj Rodriguez, from my show, Pose, had been awarded Best Actress in a Drama Series. In doing so, Mj from Newark, New Jersey, became the first trans actress ever to win a Golden Globe. And I thought, ‘Wow, how I would have loved for Mj to be on this stage getting the standing ovation she deserved for making history. And I’m thrilled to say that Mj is one of my guests tonight. She’s here at my table so, Mj, please stand up and let’s give her the ovation that she deserves.” – Ryan Murphy

2021 Emmy Awards

Yesterday, Mj attended the 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards at L.A. LIVE in California (September 19). Mj presented an award onstage with co-star and friend, Billy Porter.

Unfortunately, Pose did not win that night. Much love to the Pose cast and crew!
Mj was nominated for the “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” award. She still made history with being the first trans actress to receive a nomination in lead acting categories. We are proud of, you Michaela!

7th Annual Television Humanitarian Awards

On Saturday, Mj attended the 2021 Creative Coalition’s Television Humanitarian Awards Gala in Los Angeles, California (September 18). Mj was one of the honorees during the event! Check out the photos below.
